Medical & Health Care Services
he Sehhat Foundation Society is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Danyore, Gilgit-Baltistan, active since 2005 to improve regional health and education. Overview & Location • Location: Main Karakoram Highway (KKH), near the Chinese Graveyard, Sharote, Danyore, Gilgit, Pakistan. • Core Mission: Promoting general health, health awareness, and maternal-child care for all residents regardless of caste, creed, or color. • Healthcare Facilities: Operates the Sehhat Foundation Hospital in Danyore, offering general healthcare, emergency services, pediatric specialist care, and diagnostic laboratories. Nursing & Medical Education The foundation runs the Sehhat Foundation School & College of Nursing, noted as the first BS Nursing institute in Gilgit-Baltistan. Programs registered with the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) include: • Degree Programs:
- 4-year Generic BS Nursing (BSN)
- 2-year Post-RN BSN
- Lady Health Visitor (LHV)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA),
- Community Midwife (CMW)
